Police Vet
To help keep children and young people safe, CYC requires all staff to complete a New Zealand Police Vet as part of our safeguarding and recruitment procedures.

The type of Police Vet required will depend on the role. Roles involving direct responsibility for or regular interaction with children and young people require a Children’s Worker Police Vet under the Children’s Act 2014, while other roles may require a standard Police Vet.
