    Community Event of the Year

  • Nominees will be recognised at an Awards Ceremony to be held on Wednesday 13 January at the Meeniyan Hall.

    Details will be also be featured in local newspapers, on Council's Facebook page and online. The overall winner in each categroy will also be inscribed on the Australia Day Honour Board in Memorial Hall.

    The awards cover events held from 1 November 2025 to 1 November 2026.

  • Please attach at least two letters of support which complement the nomination. Letters of support can be from an individual, or an office bearer writing on behalf of a group. Please note that South Gippsland Shire Council Councillors and staff cannot be referees.
