About the program

Following the success of the inaugural program, UAC is proud to announce that applications are now open for the UAC Leadership Academy for 2027.

Developed in partnership with ANZIIF and proudly supported by HDI Global as Program Sponsor, this flagship program is designed for established insurance professionals looking to accelerate their leadership journey.

Through seven immersive modules (March-September), participants will develop practical capabilities in leadership, business acumen, governance, underwriting strategy and digital disruption, guided by respected industry experts.

With places strictly limited to a maximum 35 participants only, the Academy offers exclusive access to executive learning, mentorship opportunities and valuable industry networking.

Participants will gain the knowledge, confidence and connections required to lead the insurance industry into the future.

Before you apply

Before submitting your application, please ensure you have reviewed the Full Program Guide and discussed the following requirements with your manager:
- Confirmation that you meet the criteria as an established insurance professional within the insurance industry seeking to accelerate your leadership journey
- Understanding that this is not a graduate or junior development program
- Awareness of any associated out of pocket expenses that may apply
- Your availability to attend all seven modules which will be held in Sydney NSW
- Your commitment to complete all required ANZIIF online modules prior to the in-class modules. (Please refer to the UAC website and Full Program Guide for details on expected time commitment).

To graduate from the UAC Leadership Academy, you must attend all seven program modules in person in Sydney and complete all mandatory ANZIIF online modules within the program.

If you are unable to attend due to illness, bereavement or other special circumstances, you must advise UAC in writing. Any missed requirements must be caught up by arrangement with UAC before the program concludes.
