Emmaus Club Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
I voluntarily participate in the Emmaus Club selected in this registration, including singing, games, and group sharing. I understand that these activities may involve falls, collisions, or other accidental injuries, and I voluntarily assume the risks inherent in participation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release Emmaus Inn Ministries and its directors, officers, staff, and volunteers from liability for claims for personal injury or property damage arising from ordinary negligence in connection with these Club activities, and waive my right to bring such claims against those persons or the organization.
This agreement does not release liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be waived.
For participants who need personal care or support, their families arrange for a parent or caregiver to accompany them as needed and provide that personal care.
I have read and understand this agreement, including its limitations on my rights to make claims. I am the participant, or a person legally authorized to sign this agreement on the participant's behalf, and I agree voluntarily.
