Join us at the Missouri S&T Ozark Research Field Station for our annual event which will include the organization's business meeting, learning about current research the university is conducting to guide prescribed fire practitioners, complimentary lunch, and a social to meet fellow land managers, fire practitioners, and others simply interested in learning more about beneficial fire.
The Field Tour will highlight a recent research study with cedar and prescribed fire management in Missouri. Also, we’ll spend some time learning about insect-fire research and best management practices keeping healthy insect populations during prescribed burns.
