BNC's Winter Solstice Faire is a one-day community faire marking the turn of the year — the longest night giving way to returning light. We're bringing together local makers, storytellers, musicians, and performers for an evening that's part market, part ceremony, part celebration.
At the heart of the event is the winter spiral: a candlelit path guests walk, placing a candle at the center as a small ritual of reflection for the year closing and the one ahead. Around it, the fair unfolds: seasonal food and drink, live music, and storytelling circles featuring local voices.
And you're invited! This event only works as a true community gathering, one that reflects the city's own makers, traditions, and talent, rather than an outside production. Your participation is what makes it worth returning to as an annual tradition.
If that sounds like something you'd like to be part of, we'd love to have you apply below.
