Thank you for your interest in applying to Cristo Rey Birmingham High School! Located in the Titusville community of Birmingham, Alabama, Cristo Rey Birmingham (CRB) is an independent, Catholic school committed to providing students with a college preparatory education and real-world work experience through the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP).

Our mission is to equip our scholars with the tools necessary for entering and completing college while providing a supportive and encouraging environment for scholars to reach their educational and personal best! It is important that prospective students possess a desire to attend college as that will help to ensure they take full advantage of their time here and their high school efforts will support their future goals.

This application will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. 

We recommend having the following documents available as you complete this application:

1. Student's birth certificate

2. Student's Social Security card

3. Unexpired immunization record

4. Most recent report card & any IEPs or 504 plans

5. Final report card OR official transcript (once available)

6. Proof of income (most recent tax return, Social Security benefits statement, or disability benefits statement)

7. Proof of residency (state driver’s license OR utility bill – must be water or power)

 

Transfers: Cristo Rey Birmingham's academic and Corporate Work Study Program is based on the assumption that students will attend CRB for all four years, and so our priority is admitting students to the freshman class. However, we will consider applications for students entering the 10th-11th grade on a limited basis.

Admission to Cristo Rey Birmingham is contingent upon successful completion of the applicant's current grade, successful interviews with the admissions and corporate work-study team, receipt of all required documents, and successful completion of the Summer Bridge Academy (dates for 2027 are coming soon).
