2026 CROCUS HILL RIB COOK OFF
OFFICIAL DINNER TICKET - $35
HOW IT'S GOING TO WORK!
We've changed things up a little this year to help everything run smoothly and ensure everyone gets their share of ribs!
YOUR $35 DINNER TICKET INCLUDES
- 1/2 rack of ribs - 6 bones
- 3 side salads or dishes
- Baked potato with all the fixings
- Homemade dinner bun
- Ice Cream: Vanilla, Maple Walnut or Lactose-Free Toasted Coconut
- Garden strawberries in syrup
- Juice, coffee & tea
IMPORTANT MEAL TIMES
5:45 PM - Cook-off teams submit their ribs to the judges
6:00 PM - DINNER BEGINS
We will NOT begin serving before 6:00 PM. Please do not arrive too early to line up.
HOW THE DINNER LINE WORKS
A - TICKET & FOOD TABLE: Have your dinner ticket stamped and collect your plate. Continue through the food line to collect your sides, baked potato, bun and other meal items.
B - GET YOUR RIB COUPONS: At the end of the food line, hand in your stamped dinner ticket to receive 6 RIB COUPONS + 1 PEOPLE'S CHOICE VOTING TOKEN. Take your plate and coupons to the cook-off teams and trade one coupon for one rib.
Limit of one rib from each team area so everyone has an opportunity to sample ribs from different teams. If more than six teams enter, you may not be able to try ribs from every team.
PEOPLE'S CHOICE VOTING
YOU get to help choose the 2026 People's Choice Champion! After sampling the ribs, place your voting token in the container of the team you think deserves the People's Choice Award.
- Additional voting tokens are $2 EACH
- Available at the Ticket Table & Beer Gardens
- Buy as many additional voting tokens as you wish
- 1 token = 1 vote
- Put all tokens toward one team or divide them among teams
- Only official event-issued voting tokens will be counted
- Once cast, a token cannot be removed or transferred
- Most tokens = People's Choice Champion
Proceeds from additional voting tokens support the Valleyview & Districts Agricultural Society's new facility - the Greenview Regional Agri Plex.
BEER GARDENS • CONCESSION • ACTIVITIES
The Beer Gardens will be open during the day and evening. Our small concession will have hot dogs, hot chocolate, chips, treats and a selection of Foothills Creamery Ice Cream available for purchase. Activities are happening throughout the day - check the back of your ticket for the day's schedule.
