The #LiveTogetherChallenge is an initiative that brings people with different political and social views together for direct, respectful conversation. The goal is to help people reconnect with friends, family, or neighbors they've stopped talking to, or argue with, over politics. We hope this effort will contribute to a stronger community.

Seven Ground Rules for the Table

1. Each member is to uphold the values of the table; to treat each other with respect, grace, and curiosity.

2. One voice at a time. Listen generously and let each person finish before anyone responds.

3. Reflect back what you heard the other person say and show appreciation for it.

4. Argue with the idea, not the person sitting across from you.

5. You're allowed to disagree and still come back next time — that's the whole point.

6. What's said at the table stays at the table, unless everyone agrees to share it.

7. If it gets too heated, pause, take a breath.

Location, Moderators & Dates

The first table will be held in the Bucks County — Doylestown, PA area, moderated by Kitty Semisch and Vonna DeArmond, featured in Bucks County, USA. We expect three table dates: the first after Episodes One and Two have aired, the second after Episodes Three and Four have aired, and the third after the final episode has aired.

Requests to join this table — and acceptance — are based on available open seats, along with an understanding of what you hope to gain from your participation.

Next Steps

Each table is limited to 30 people, and requests are filled first come, first served. After submitting, you will receive a link to download your completed response. You will be notified of your request status within approximately two weeks. If accepted, you’ll receive the table’s date, time, and location.
