Live Ideas Fall 2026 Institute
September 30th, October 1st, 5th, and 6th @ 6:30-8:00 pm in Hale
The Live Ideas Journal will hold a Fall institute September 30th and October 1st, 5th, and 6th from 6:30-8:00 pm in Hale Library. All written pieces are welcome- fiction, nonfiction, poems, essays, etc. The purpose of these institutes is to help undergraduate students perfect their pieces alongside their scholarly and artistic peers. A $250 scholarship will be awarded to those who attend all sessions of the institute. The institute will begin on Wednesday, September 30th, and continue onto Thursday, October 1th. From there, we will break for the weekend to give students ample time to work on revising their pieces. We will meet back on Monday, October 5th, and conclude the institute on October 6th. The deadline to apply for the institute is Wednesday, September 23th. The institute will be held in person. You will receive a confirmation email with additional details if your application is accepted. Questions? Ask Dr. Laurie Johnson (lauriej@ksu.edu).
