• David R. Edwards Endowment for Career Development

    The David R. Edwards Endowment for Career Development fund was created by David Edwards, Georgia Southern ’86, to support Delta Chi brothers from chapters located in the state of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Tennessee who desire to advance their professional and career development through internships and similar programming and training.
  • ELIGIBILITY:

    • Must be an undergraduate student or a graduate student at a college or university located in the state of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Tennessee; and
    • Must be an undergraduate student or a graduate student at a college or university where there is an active chapter of the Fraternity; and
    • Must be an active member of the aforementioned active chapter of the Fraternity; and
    • Must be in good standing with the aforementioned active chapter of the Fraternity; and
    • Must be in good standing with the Fraternity; and
    • Must be in good standing at their respective college or university; and
    • Must be pursuing an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in business at their respective college or university; and
    • Applicant desires to advance their professional and career development through an internship (or similar programming and training); and
    • Applicant must articulate, to the satisfaction of the Foundation, how such internship (or similar programming and training) will develop and refine both the soft and hard skills necessary to be successful in their field of study; and
    • Applicant must articulate, to the satisfaction of the Foundation, how such internship (or similar programming and training) will enhance their opportunity to secure a job in their chosen field of study upon graduation from their respective college or university.
