2027 Southeast Workshops

Greetings potential Workshop Presenter!

First and foremost, thank you for your interest in participating in this year’s AEE-SE conference as a presenter. As in years past, our presentations are an integral part of our annual conference by continuing to advance the field of experiential education.

THEME: "EGGxtraordinary Adventure", inspired by the metaphor with which we ended our 2026 conference (What will you "hatch" this year?") and the Oscar Wilde quote: An egg is always an adventure; the next one may be different. We use the egg inspired metaphor to explore the 6 AEE values (global community, adventure & challenge, reflective leadership, social justice, the natural world, and creative play).

In order to formally submit your conference proposal, please complete and submit this form by February 15, 2027. Once submitted, your proposal will be considered for 2027 Southeast Regional Conference and you will be notified of the status of your proposal. If your workshop is selected, you will be notified and eligible to register for the conference at the discounted presenter rate. Workshops will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis.

You will see four workshop types to select from:
15 minute spark talks- these are short sessions intended to inspire conversation going into lunch on Day One

30/60 minutes- these are abbreviated workshops

90 minutes- these are workshops in alignment with time blocks at the International AEE Conference

90-120 minutes - **Participants may be assessed an additional fee** Time on the on-site challenge course
