  • Your Account Responsibility

  • Your AuctionACCESS and individual auction accounts are your personal responsibility. Keep every account in good standing and provide identification or verification documents when requested. Create your own AuctionACCESS account, complete all required setup steps and electronic signatures, pay the current fee shown by AuctionACCESS, and obtain your AuctionACCESS number. Submit that number below so the dealership can add and authorize you. Creating an account alone does not mean you are authorized to bid.
  • Wholesale vs. Retail

  • We operate as a wholesale dealership. Wholesale representatives may buy and sell dealer-to-dealer and use approved dealer auctions. A wholesale dealer cannot sell directly to the public. A public sale must be completed through an approved retail dealer using the proper reassignment process. Reassigning a vehicle to another wholesale dealer does not authorize a public sale.
  • $157 PER VEHICLE — PUBLIC SALE REASSIGNMENT

  • A public sale processed through the approved retail dealer requires a $157 reassignment service fee for each applicable vehicle. Add this fee to your deal costs before calculating profit or agreeing to the sale price. This fee is separate from auction buyer fees, transportation, repairs, taxes, registration, and other expenses. Provide the front and back of the title, reassignment or delivery assignment, bill of sale, buyer photo ID, and any additional required document.
  • Retail Dealer Partners and Consignment

  • For a public transaction, coordinate with the approved retail dealer before accepting money or completing paperwork. The retail dealer is the party selling the vehicle to the public. The reassignment service costs $157 per applicable vehicle, so include it in your profit calculation. Consignment through a retail dealership may also be used when the commission or profit split is agreed to in advance.
  • Auction Setup

  • AuctionACCESS and individual auction registration are separate. After dealership authorization, contact each auction you plan to use and complete its setup. Manheim support: 1-866-626-4346. ADESA / OPENLANE support: 1-888-526-7326. Have your AuctionACCESS ID ready. Do not bid until both dealership authorization and the individual auction account are confirmed active.
  • Inspect Before You Bid

  • Inspect the vehicle in person whenever possible. Check engine noises, warning lights, leaks, overheating, air conditioning, heat, transmission operation, tires, body condition, prior repairs, title announcements, the condition report, buyer fees, transportation cost, auction grade, and the green/yellow/red light system. Do not rely only on the auction description or inspection summary. Determine whether a post-sale inspection is available and whether its cost is worth reducing the risk.
  • Every Bid Is a Purchase

  • Never place a test or casual bid. Bid only after completing due diligence, setting a maximum purchase price, and confirming that funds are ready. A winning bid creates a real purchase obligation. Failure to pay can cause penalties, account shutdown, or dealership access and license problems. Never allow anyone else to use your auction account.
  • Auction Payment

  • Payment methods and deadlines vary by auction. After winning, follow that auction's instructions and contact it directly if anything is unclear. Accepted methods may include a cashier's check or cash at some auctions. Confirm the method and deadline before arriving or sending payment.
  • Titles Are Official Documents

  • Treat titles, reassignments, bills of sale, and transfer paperwork as official government documents. Use black ink and write clearly. Never cross out, erase, use White-Out, write over an entry, guess, misspell a name, alter a document, or sign another person's name. If you make a mistake or are unsure what belongs in a field, stop and call or text 202-695-0850 before continuing.
  • Required Sale Packet

  • Confirm whether the transaction is dealer-to-dealer or dealer-to-public before preparing paperwork. For an applicable public sale, keep clear copies of the front and back of the title, reassignment or delivery assignment, bill of sale, buyer photo ID, and any additional required form such as an as-is document. Verify names, signatures, and required fields before submission.
  • Before You Move Forward

  • Do not bid, purchase, accept public-sale funds, or complete uncertain title paperwork until the proper authorization and transaction process are confirmed. Keep this onboarding available for reference. Questions: Call or text 202-695-0850.
  • Wholesale dealers sell dealer-to-dealer or through dealer auctions only. Public sales must go through an approved retail dealer using the proper reassignment process, and reassigning to another wholesale dealer does not permit a public sale. Retail-dealer consignment may be used when agreed in advance, including any commission or profit split.
  • Payment Tutorial

  • This is a sample Manheim cashier’s-check and vehicle-release workflow. Always follow the exact payee, amount, remittance details, deadline, and release requirements shown on your invoice or auction account. Payment rules may vary by auction. • Representative Information

  • Format: (000) 000-0000.
  • $157 PURCHASE FEE — EVERY VEHICLE

  • Every vehicle purchased through the dealership has a $157 per-car purchase fee. This fee applies to every purchase and is separate from auction buyer fees, transportation, repairs, storage, taxes, registration, and other expenses. If that vehicle later goes through the approved retail dealer process for a public sale, the separate $157 reassignment fee may also apply. The purchase fee and reassignment fee are two different charges.
  • Every winning bid is a real purchase obligation. Do not place test bids. Before bidding, confirm available funds and review the buyer fees, transportation cost, announcements, title status, condition information, auction light, and arbitration rules. Never allow another person to use your auction account.
