• 2027 Chorus Audition Application Form

  • If you would like to audition for the San Francisco Opera Chorus for the 2027 contract year, please fill out this form, upload your materials, and submit by October 17th, 2026.

    Please read the audition notice below for more information regarding open positions, repertoire requirements, and application materials.     Audition Dates and Times:

    Tuesday, October 6th, 2026 - 6:30-8:30

    Saturday, October 17th, 2026 - 12:00-2:30

    Friday, October 23rd, 2026 - 2:00-5:00

    Wednesday, November 4th, 2026 - 6:00-9:00

  • You must submit all the required materials before consideration will be given for an audition.

    If you have sung with the SFO Chorus in any of the past 5 seasons, you are required to submit an application with your resume and repertoire list, but you do not need to submit any letters of recommendation or a headshot.

  • Regular Chorus Requirements: 3 operatic arias, one of which must be in Italian. A 4th selection is optional, and may be an operatic aria, oratorio aria, or spiritual. All selections must be memorized.
