    • Select partners based on best overall value and alignment
    • Negotiate scope, term length, and sponsorship details
    • Reject any or all applications

    The City of Knoxville's Purchasing Department will document any sponsorship over $1,000 with a letter of acknowledgment and thanks.  Donations/Partnerships of $25,000 or more must be approved by City Council.

    Recognition of a sponsor will not suggest in any way the endorsement of the sponsor’s goods or services by the City or any proprietary interest of the sponsor.
