• General Adult Language and Cultural Survey

  • Welcome to the Ahousaht Language and Cultural Survey

This survey will help Ahousaht understand where we are with our language and will help identify language and cultural priorities and/or barriers that will create a pathway for future language programs, resources, and learning opportunities. We want to hear your voice, whether you reside at home in Ahousaht or away from home.

This survey is for registered Ahousaht members only. We will request personal information from you. Your information will be kept confidential. Status numbers will be used to confirm eligibility for a West Coast Amusement bracelet and to help prevent duplicate submissions.

Survey findings will be reported as combined results, such as age-group and residence comparisons, and will not identify individual respondents.

Please answer each question honestly based on what you can currently demonstrate. It is okay not to know an answer. No, None, wik, and I don’t know are important responses and will help identify areas where community members would like more opportunities to learn.

By selecting “I agree” below, you confirm that:

    ·       The respondent is eligible to participate in this survey.

    ·       You have read and understood the information above.

    ·       You understand how the information will be collected and used.

    ·       The answers provided will reflect the respondent’s current knowledge and abilities.
