Trainer agrees to provide the following services:

• Full boarding care, including daily feeding, stall cleaning, turnout and water.

• Grooming and basic upkeep of the horse.

• Payment is due on the first day of each month. Late fees of $50 will apply after 5 days.

• Owner is financially responsible for all veterinary, dental, and farrier services.
• In the event of an emergency, trainer is authorized to secure veterinary care at owner's expense if owner cannot be reached.

• Trainer will provide reasonable care, feeding, and training, but assumes no liability for injury, illness, or death of the horse while in trainer's care.
• Owner agrees that Trainer is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or death that may occur to the horse during boarding, turnout, or training.
• Trainer, the landlord of the facility, and facility staff shall not be liable for injury, accident, or death of Owner, Owner's family, or guests when on the premises.
• Owner acknowledges that horseback riding and handling horses are inherently dangerous activities. Owner assumes all risks of riding or handling their horse at Trainer's facility.
• Owner agrees that they are not liable for any injury to Trainer from the training or handling of the horse.

Owner agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Trainer, the landlord of the facility, employees, and facility staff from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• The horse's actions while boarded, trained, or owner's use of the facility.

• Either party may terminate this Agreement with ___ days’ written notice. All outstanding fees must be paid in full before horse is released from Trainer’s care.

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Agreement.
