Join the Miss Missouri Team!

We're looking for passionate volunteers from across the state. We couldn't be more excited to build the next generation of the Miss Missouri Scholarship Organization together.

Whether you're a former titleholder, a proud pageant supporter, or even someone who's never competed a day in your life... if you care about empowering women and are ready to roll up your sleeves, we want to hear from you.

These are active, hands-on roles, not just a title. Each member will report to a member of our Executive Committee and play a real part in moving our organization forward. We're looking for individuals with relevant experience in their area of interest and — most importantly — the time and commitment to show up for our girls.

Note: responsibilities for each role may evolve based on the needs of the organization.

How it works: We'll review all applications. In November, we will begin interviews. If selected, you will be an active team member by December.

  - Reliable follow-through — we need people who show up and get things done
  - Willingness to commit real time, not just your name on a roster
  - Comfort working as part of a team and reporting to the Executive Committee
  - Ability to attend Miss Missouri 2027 (June 9-12, 2027 in Mexico, Missouri)
  - Can attend monthly meetings for the board on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:30PM. Virtual attendance is permitted!
  - Some relevant experience in your area of interest (we'll tell you where it's a must-have vs. nice-to-have)
  - No prior pageant experience required — just heart and hustle
  - Please note: you cannot be a local board member or personally connected to current delegate (teen or miss) to apply

  Show-Me Stars Assistant Coordinator (Little Sisters Program)
  Help own our Little Sisters program year-round — recruit new participants, manage enrollment, grow our Show-Me Stars social media presence, and lead the girls through their big moments during pageant week (including the Show-Me Stars Social, evening gown walks, and Friday & Saturday's dance production).
  
  PR/Communications Coordinator
  Be our voice to the state. Manage media relations, send nightly updates during Miss Missouri week, hype up our titleholders heading into Miss America by connecting with news outlets, and spread the word on local pageants occurring in specific regions. You will also be tasked to update the website as needed. This role does not include social media management.
  
  Forever Miss Missouris Liaison
  Keep our alumnae family close. Maintain our titleholder registry, share organizational updates, and inspire former queens to stay involved and give back to our scholarship fund. Coordinate an event during Miss Missouri week for forever Miss Missouris
  
  Ticketing Assistant Coordinator
  Team up with our ticketing lead to run the show behind the scenes — managing online ticket sales, presenting at Orientation, and supporting in-person sales all week long.
  
  Partnership Development Coordinator
  Build our network across Missouri. Connect with businesses and universities to create new partnerships, sponsorships, and giving opportunities for our delegates.
  
  Fundraising Coordinator
  Lead the charge for our Scholarship Foundation. Plan at least one statewide fundraising event a year, support the Miss Missouri Golf Tournament, run social media giving campaigns, and build lasting relationships with our donors. Fundraising experience highly preferred.
  
  American Heart Association Liaison
  Champion a cause close to our hearts. Maintain and grow our AHA partnership, keep delegates on track with fundraising requirements, and manage our SpotFund presence.
  
  Delegate Recruitment Coordinator
  Help us find our next class of delegates. Identify new markets (dance studios, colleges, and beyond), build recruitment strategy alongside the Executive Committee, and represent Miss Missouri at events across the state.
  
  Events Committee Member
  Help bring the magic to life. Support Winter Workshop, Orientation, and Miss Missouri week in Mexico — including the Miss Arrival Brunch, Teen Arrival Brunch, Delegate After Parties, Teen Encore Party, and the MLPA Party. Must be able to attend events in person.
  
  General Board Member
  Not sure which role is the perfect fit, or just want to help wherever you're needed? Join our general volunteer pool! You'll be called on for pageant week support, event assistance, and other organizational needs throughout the year — a great way to get involved and see where your passion leads.
