Welcome to the Art Costs Poetry and Monologue Slam
This Art Costs Poetry and Monologue Slam is a mentorship and scholarship program open to all current high school students in the Atlanta, GA area who are exquisite orators, performers, and/or public speakers. This competition has three main components: The Audition, the Workshop, and the Show!

Many will audition, 12 will be chosen to spend 6 weeks working with professional mentors and coaches to perfect their craft! In the end, they compete in one final show for scholarship prizes, bragging rights, and more.

- Please arrive no later than 9AM. Early arrival is suggested. Your audition will consist of you performing a short reading. The script will be sent to you via email 72 hours before the audition date!
  
  Your job is to perform that script like you have done it a million times. Memorize it as much as possible, but you are certainly welcome to hold the paper in your hand!
  
  A limited number of printed copies will be avaiable at the audition, but please print your own copy if you can.
