Legal Clinics for the Arts - Intake Form
Thank you for your interest in assistance through the Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville's Volunteer Lawyers and Professionals for the Arts (VLPA) program. We provide pro bono legal and professional services to artists, emerging arts nonprofit organizations, and creative businesses in Tennessee.

Clinic dates (in-person):

Registration is currently open for the November 4, 2026 legal clinic. Request a 30-minute, in-person, private session to receive expert legal advice on issues surrounding your creative practice.

Eligibility requirements for this clinic include the following:

Issues must be arts-related
Client(s) must be a current resident of Tennessee
Client(s) must fall within VLPA's guidelines for income qualification

Pro bono assistance provided through VLPA is intended for low-income Tennessee residents who would not otherwise be able to afford legal services. VLPA considers an individual "low-income" if they live in the Greater Nashville area and earn less than $52,250 gross annually (with an allowance of $7,475 for each additional household member).

Nonprofit arts organizations registered in Tennessee with annual operating budgets of up to $1,000,000 may qualify for pro bono assistance.
