ELECTIONS TO BE HELD AT THE A.G.M.

VENUE: Gallery M, Marion Cultural Centre, 287 Diagonal Road, Oaklands Park
All available positions will be declared vacant at the meeting.
The election will then take place, voting for nominated officers.
RULES FOR NOMINATION
There will be no voting for Honorary and Allocated Positions (see below)
A nominee must be a financial member of the Red House Group Inc. (Additional non-members may be co-opted in certain circumstances)
You may nominate yourself for a position.
You may nominate anyone else for a position, provided he/she has agreed to be nominated by you.

ABOUT THE BOARD
The Red House Group Board usually meets bi monthly on a Thursday evening, at Gallery M.
A meeting schedule will be set by the new Board for 2025/2026.
Meetings start at 7pm, and last approximately two hours (or less). The Board makes decisions about the operation of the Red House Group, and the management of Gallery M.
If you would like a copy of the Red House Group Inc Constitution, or our five-year strategic plan, or any other information, please talk to a staff member at Gallery M.
Nominees will be asked to provide a short written statement about themselves, why they are interested in a position on the board, and any particular skills that may be of benefit to the board.
All available positions will be declared vacant at the meeting. We are looking for nominations for the following positions:
Chairperson
Vice Chairperson
Secretary
Treasurer
and four General Members

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE NOMINATING
In South Australia, certain people may not be on the committee or take part in the management of the association, unless they get permission from Consumer and Business Services. This includes a person who:
- has not been discharged from bankruptcy within the past five years
- has been convicted or imprisoned for committing one of the following offences:
- any indicatable offence (a serious criminal offence where a defendant has a right to trial by jury)
- an offence involving fraud or dishonesty punishable on conviction by imprisonment for at least three months
All persons voted onto the Red House Group Inc. Board of Management will be required to sign a declaration that:
- They are not an undischarged bankrupt
- They have not within the past five years been convicted or imprisoned for committing:
- any indicatable offence (a serious criminal offence where a defendant has a right to trial by jury)
- an offence involving fraud or dishonesty punishable on conviction by imprisonment for at least three months
All nominees may be subject to a Police Check.
