• VAHI Individual Inspector Survey 2026

Answer a 4–6 minute survey about your pre-purchase building or timber pest inspection work in Australia (1 July 2025–30 June 2026).
  • This survey is for a sole operator or a business with only one active inspector performing pre-purchase building or timber pest inspections in Australia. Please answer about your own work only. The survey should take approximately 4-6 minutes. The Victorian Government is considering a mandatory pre-purchase building and pest inspection scheme. Under the proposal, the vendor would commission the inspection report and provide it to prospective buyers. VAHI is collecting this information to build a clearer picture of the Australian inspection industry and respond to an information request from the Victorian Department of Government Services. Results will be reported in aggregate. Contact details will not be included in published reporting.
