Youth Conference Eligibility Agreement
By selecting the checkbox below, you affirm your understanding and agreement to the following eligibility criteria for participation in the 39th Annual Assyrian Church of The East, North America Youth Conference in Diocese of California.
1. Active Membership:
Maintain status as a youth member in good standing by adhering to all previously agreed-upon rules and expectations.
2. Sunday Mass Attendance:
Attend Sunday Mass at least twice a month. If unable to attend at Saint Andrew’s Parish, attendance at one of the other four Assyrian Church of the East Parishes in Chicago is acceptable, provided proof (e.g., a photo of the church) is submitted to the Secretary, Ornella, each time.
3. Friday Night Bible Studies:
Attend Youth Bible Studies at Saint Andrew’s at least two Fridays per month. Attendance at Saint Andrew’s is mandatory; no exceptions for other locations.
4. Fundraising Events Participation:
Participate in all youth fundraising events unless a valid excuse (such as work or school sports events) is provided in advance. Missed events must be compensated through other volunteer opportunities.
5. Schedule Conflicts:
If unable to attend Sunday or Friday events due to work or school commitments, provide a copy of the schedule to validate the absence. Missed days must be made up by attending additional Fridays, Sundays, or volunteer events.
6. Extended Absences:
For extended out-of-town periods, the same rules apply. Missed time must be compensated by attending additional Fridays, Sundays, or volunteer events.
7. Illness-Related Absences:
Absences due to illness on Sundays or Fridays are not automatically excused. Missed days must be made up by attending additional Fridays or Sundays. However, in cases of prolonged illness, injury, surgery, or other serious health-related matters, accommodations may be made. Please reach out to us directly so we can work together on a plan
8. Non-Compliance:
Failure to adhere to the above rules and expectations will result in ineligibility to attend the upcoming youth conference.
