Maybe your team struggled to listen and work together at first but, through trial, error, and a lot of duct tape, became incredible collaborators. Maybe you met someone from another state or country through DI and, years later, you’re still friends. Maybe you’re an alum who relies on the creativity, problem-solving, and risk-taking you practiced in DI in your career today. Maybe you’re a parent who watched your child find their voice and gain confidence in themselves and their abilities. Maybe you’re a Team Manager who learned just how hard—and rewarding—it can be to step back and let young people lead. Or maybe you’re a volunteer who keeps coming back year after year because DI made an impact on you, too.
