These instructions are intended to help your appointment run smoothly and avoid delays or the need to reschedule.
To help ensure a smooth, efficient, and accurate document execution appointment, please REVIEW and PREPARE your documents before arriving for your appointment.
Your appointment is reserved for the execution of your estate planning documents. To make the best use of your appointment time, please arrive with your documents fully prepared for signing, except for signatures, initials, dates, witness sections, and notarial certificates, unless otherwise instructed by your attorney or document preparer.
Before your appointment, please complete any informational fields your attorney or document preparer intended for you to complete, such as:
• Agent, Trustee, Personal Representative, or Successor Trustee names
• Addresses
• Telephone numbers
• Email addresses
• Other non-signature information requested within the documents
Please do not sign, initial, or date any documents before your appointment. Likewise, please do not complete any witness sections or notarial certificates.
If you are unsure how to complete any informational field, please contact your attorney or document preparer before your appointment. Law Notary cannot advise you on how legal documents should be completed.
If your documents are not fully prepared when you arrive, additional appointment time may be required or your appointment may need to be rescheduled, depending on the circumstances.
