• STAND WITH OUR GAS STATIONS

    PROTECT JOBS. SUPPORT COMMUNITIES.
  • Service stations do more than sell fuel. They provide sustainable employment, create first-job and skills-development opportunities, support community initiatives and deliver essential services across Trinidad and Tobago. They also collect significant revenue on behalf of the State but retain only a small portion of the total money received from fuel sales, in the form of commissions.

The Owner Dealers Association (ODA) is calling for an urgent and transparent review of how the Business Levy and Green Fund Levy are applied to service-station owner-dealers.

This is not a request for an increase in fuel prices at the pump. It is a call for fair taxation that protects consumers and Government revenue while helping service stations remain viable and continue serving their communities.
  • Before You Begin

  • Your Views

  • Do you believe service stations make an important contribution to employment and communities across Trinidad and Tobago?*
  • Do you believe service-station owner-dealers should be taxed on the commissions they earn—similar to insurance agencies, NLCB agents and travel agencies—rather than on the total value of fuel sales collected, including money collected on behalf of the State?*
  • Do you support ODA's call for an urgent and transparent review of how the Business Levy and Green Fund Levy are applied to service-station owner-dealers?*
