Dia de los Muertos '26 - CALL FOR ARTISTS

We are pleased to announce a call for artists for OPAC’s "Día de los Muertos Art Show", this is an open show inviting anyone 16 or older to submit their application for consideration to be displayed during the event on October 25th, 2026 5-9pm at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center.

Some Guidelines:
- This is an open call. All mediums of art are welcome to apply, including painting, sculpture, photography, and all in between.
- This Día de los Muertos event artwork can feature anything related to the tradition.
- Art sales will be handled directly between the artist and buyer. OPAC will not handle art sale transactions.
- Artists keep 100% of the proceeds from any artwork sold during the show.
- Must be 16 years or older to apply.
3-Part Selection Process:

Phase 1 – Submit the artwork you would like to display in the show. Your submission should be your final, completed piece and must be family friendly. Deadline: October 18th 11:45pm

Phase 2 – Artist will be notified by October 19th if they have been accepted into the art show.

Phase 3 – Drop off is Oct 19 ,21 & 22 from 9:30-5pm and Oct 20 from 10am-7pm at OPAC 800 Hobson Way. Artwork must be ready to hang.
