The Rung is a new membership community powered by The Chicago Network, built for the next generation of C-suite women leaders.

In February 2027, 40 women will join as founding members of The Rung's inaugural cohort. This isn't a networking group. It's a close circle of women at the same altitude, headed the same direction, who know exactly what you're navigating because they're navigating it too, and will show up for you because of it.

The Rung gives you relationships you can trust with the real stuff, real-time support through the moments that shape a career, and direct access to the access, perspective, and connections The Chicago Network has spent decades building.

Designed for senior women who have established meaningful leadership scope and are building toward the C-suite. They may be Directors, Vice Presidents, Partners, Principals or hold equivalent roles within their organizations. We don’t rely on titles alone; we look at the substance of their leadership: responsibility for teams, budgets, revenue, investments, policy or risk; increasing exposure to enterprise-level decisions; and a clear ambition to advance to the highest levels of executive leadership.

The program year ends. The climb doesn't. The inaugural 40 women keep rising together as the first rung in a community built to grow.
