APPLICATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2026. Leadership Northern Colorado is a regional leadership development program designed to build human capacity and to identify, define and address the issues facing the Northern Colorado region. The six-month interactive development program for up to 30 select leaders from across the region will be focused on regional issues, regionalism and regional leadership skills. The program is designed to educate and motivate leaders who are committed to shaping the future of our region. Leadership Northern Colorado is a joint initiative of the Fort Collins, Greeley and Loveland Chambers of Commerce, the NoCo Foundation, and the Weld Community Foundation.
- Leadership Northern Colorado requires full participation. Only those willing to thoughtfully and completely fill out an application and attend and participate in all six (6) program sessions should apply. The class will meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from January 26, 2027, to June 22, 2027.
- Session topics throughout the year include Public governance, Land use and infrastructure, Education, Economy and a Regional overview. Session topics may be revised by the Steering Committee to best serve the needs and goals of the participants.
- The tuition for the six-month program is $950 and covers all meals, session materials and graduation recognition. The tuition is due on February 23, 2027, and may be paid by the applicant, by the applicant’s employer or sponsor, or a combination thereof.
- All applicants not selected for the 2027 program may apply for a future Leadership Northern Colorado class, but applications are not held from year to year or automatically resubmitted.

- Orientation: Friday, January 12, 2027. (1pm to 5pm The Group Harmony offices in Fort Collins- basement community room)

- Session 5: May 25, 2027
- Session 6 & Graduation: June 22, 2027

Tuition is $950 per person and covers all meals, session materials, graduation recognition and administration costs of the program. Leadership Northern Colorado will be providing partial scholarship opportunities for individuals participating in the 2027 program. In order to be considered for a scholarship, state how much you are requesting in assistance and why you qualify for this assistance.
