    Join Team SwimGQ - Expression of Interest - Join the SwimGQ Professionals Network SwimGQ invites suitably qualified and experienced individuals to register their interest in providing professional services in support of community, educational, water safety, aquatic, ocean-based activities, and related events. By completing this form, applicants will be considered for inclusion in the SwimGQ database of independent service providers. Inclusion in this database does not guarantee engagement but enables SwimGQ to identify and contact appropriately qualified individuals for specific events or operational requirements, as and when they arise. This network may include, but is not limited to, the following roles: lifeguards; paddlers (including stand-up paddleboard, kayak, Malibu, and surf ski); swim coaches; watercraft operators; boat operators and skippers; first aiders; paramedics; medical practitioners; security personnel; spotters; coordinators; and radio operators. All appointed individuals play a critical role in supporting the safety, coordination, and overall integrity of SwimGQ activities, contributing to a secure environment for both novice and experienced participants.

All individuals act as independent contractors or volunteers, as applicable, and any engagement is strictly on an ad hoc, event-specific basis. 2. No Guarantee of Work Registration and inclusion in the database do not guarantee selection, appointment, or frequency of engagement. 3. Scope of Practice All individuals are required to operate strictly within the limits of their qualifications, certifications, and professional scope of practice at all times. 4. Compliance Obligations All participants must comply with applicable laws, regulations, bylaws, and recognised sporting and safety standards, as well as any SwimGQ policies, procedures, and event-specific protocols. 5. Assumption of Risk Participation in any SwimGQ-related activity is entirely voluntary and undertaken at the individual’s own risk. By participating, individuals acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with open water environments and related activities. 6. Liability Waiver To the fullest extent SwimGQ, its organisers, affiliates, and representatives shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, damage, or claim arising from participation in any activity. 7. Fitness to Participate Individuals confirm that they are physically and medically fit to perform their role and are responsible for maintaining valid and up-to-date certifications where required. 8. Right of Refusal SwimGQ reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or terminate participation or engagement at any time where safety, conduct, or compliance concerns arise.
