Originality & Exhibition Requirements

Please read and acknowledge each statement. All are required.
I am 18 years of age or older.
I am a current member of one of the two participating art leagues.
I certify that the submitted artwork is my original work and was created by my own hand.
I certify that the submitted artwork is not AI-generated.
I understand that artwork containing violent, political, or sexually explicit imagery, content, or messaging will not be accepted.
If submitting wall-mounted artwork, I understand that accepted work must arrive ready to hang with secure and appropriate hanging hardware already installed, and that artwork not ready to hang upon delivery will not be exhibited.
If submitting 3D artwork requiring a pedestal larger than TWAC can provide, I understand that I am responsible for providing an appropriate, safe, and exhibition-ready pedestal or display structure.
I understand that acceptance through the jury process does not override TWAC's exhibition requirements and that TWAC reserves the right to decline artwork that does not meet the stated guidelines upon delivery.
Anonymous Jury Process

Due to limited gallery space, up to 30 works will be selected for the exhibition. All artwork will be presented to juror Rene Wiley anonymously. The juror will not be able to see the artist's name, art league affiliation, contact information, website, or social media information. Artwork will be considered solely on its artistic merit.
Awards

Awards will be announced and presented at the opening reception on November 12.

The Woodlands Arts Council respects your privacy. Information submitted through this application will be used solely to administer the application and jury process, communicate with applicants, process payments, and, if selected, coordinate participation in the exhibition.We do not sell or share your personal information for marketing purposes. Application information may be accessed by authorized Woodlands Arts Council staff and, where appropriate, individuals involved in administering or jurying the exhibition.Payments are securely processed through Authorize.Net.
