Thank you for your interest in attending this year's campout. It’s going to be a great time, so don’t miss it! It’s one of the larger all-church-member events we have all year to get to know one another better, worship together, and make some great memories.

What are the accommodations like?
We rent out the entire Bar M Campground at Table Rock Lake and you have your choice of sleeping in a tent (you bring), your RV (all sites have ele., water, and 50 Amp plugs), or a cabin complete with everything you’d expect when you rent a room (bathroom, beds, couches, chairs, and a kitchen). To keep the costs low, we ask that families share a cabin (there’s plenty of space). We also place a HUGE circus like tent in the middle of the grounds where we do most of our events and meals. It’s filled with tables and chairs. We add electricity, lights, fall décor, and heat it if needed. There are also fire rings on the grounds near the tent and we keep them burning almost all weekend. There are exterior bathrooms complete with showers (you bring towels and soap).
Are pets allowed?
Not in the cabins. They are allowed on the grounds and in the big tent (if they behave), but need to remain on a leash so there are no incidents.
What does it cost?
That depends on whether you come Saturday only, or the entire weekend and where you plan to stay (sleep); pricing is below.
When does it actually start?
Come down as early as noon on Friday, but most arrive after 5:00
What takes place during the weekend?
Friday Night:
Dinner in the big tent. Chili, soup, & stew. Bring your prized recipe to share. Meet in the big tent at 7:00PM for dinner. Please leave it out until 9:00PM for those arriving late. Lemonade, coffee, hot chocolate, and water will be provided at the canteen all weekend long.
Saturday Morning:
Breakfast is on your own or find some cabin friends to mooch from. We will kick off the day with singing, prayer, and a devotional time at 10:00AM. Bring your camping chairs. Depending on the weather, we’ll have it in the tent or around the fire.
Saturday Afternoon:
After the devotional you’ll have some time to hone your skills at a plethora of games. Utilize this opportunity to visit and engage with other campers to build and strengthen relationships.
We’ll serve lunch about 11:30ish and everything is provided. After lunch check the agenda in the tent so you don’t miss all the planned fun! For the kids we have crafts, and all sorts of engaging fun activities like a Scavenger hunt and piñata.
Saturday Evening:
Dinner will be about 5:30 PM in the big tent. It’s a catered event with a delicious entrée and sides. After dinner is our primary devotional time together. We reset the tent and spend some time singing songs, in prayer, and a devotional based on this weekend’s theme. This is a great time to align our efforts with God’s will. After that comes The legendary Sunset Family Campout Talent Show and Trivia!
Sunday Morning:
We will have a full church service this morning at 9:30AM in the big tent. Songs, prayers, communion, lesson, and we’ll also take up a collection just as if we were at Sunset.
