Volunteer Expectations

A4A volunteers are expected to treat all animals and people with kindness and respect and to follow A4A policies, safety procedures, and instructions from authorized A4A representatives.

Volunteers may only perform duties for which they have been approved and/or trained. A4A reserves the right to determine appropriate volunteer assignments based on the needs of the organization, the volunteer's experience, and animal and public safety.
