The Emily Pearsall Servant Leadership Award (Ordained)
Named for Emily Pearsall, who came to Utah in 1870 at the request of Bishop Daniel Tuttle and became known for her gentle, tireless care among all people. This award is given to an ordained leader whose ministry is a profound witness to God’s love through servant leadership.
This award recognizes clergy whose pastoral presence, courage, humility, and sustained commitment reflect Christ’s compassion in the Diocese of Utah.
The Sara Napper Missioner Award (Lay)
Named for Sara Napper, a gifted lay organizer and mission leader who tirelessly supported diocesan ministries through extraordinary energy and administrative leadership. This award honors a lay person whose organizational gifts, planning skills, and faithful service enable the mission and ministry of the Diocese.
This award recognizes lay leaders who make ministry possible through vision, coordination, and joyful dedication.
