Position Overview
The Senior Caseworker plays a key role in supporting individuals and families facing financial, social, and personal challenges.
This position is responsible for conducting client assessments, coordinating support services, providing case management, and ensuring clients are connected with appropriate community resources.
The Senior Caseworker also supports the development of welfare initiatives and provides guidance to caseworkers to ensure consistent, compassionate, and effective client support.

Duties & Responsibilities
Case Management & Client Support
- Conduct client intake, needs assessments, and follow-up to identify client needs and determine appropriate support.
- Provide case management and connect clients with internal programs and external community resources.
- Support individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, food insecurity, housing challenges, and other social difficulties.
- Develop and maintain individualized support plans in collaboration with clients.
- Monitor client progress and ensure appropriate follow-up and continuity of support.
- Communicate with clients in a respectful, culturally sensitive, and professional manner.
Referrals & Service Coordination
- Coordinate referrals and liaise with community organizations, service providers, and relevant agencies.
- Help clients access appropriate programs, services, and community resources.
- Identify gaps in services and contribute to improvements in case management processes.
Caseworker & Program Support
- Provide guidance and support to caseworkers, including assistance with complex cases and service coordination.
- Support volunteers and other team members involved in client service delivery.
- Support the implementation of welfare initiatives, community outreach activities, and client support programs.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support MFBCS programs and operations.
Documentation & Records
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and current client records and case documentation.
- Use Salesforce or other organizational systems to record client information, case notes, referrals, and follow-up activities.
- Handle sensitive client information according to confidentiality and professional standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in case management, social services, community support, or a related role.
- Experience working with individuals and families facing financial hardship or other social challenges.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar case management system is considered an asset.

- Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain accurate records.

Working Conditions
