Position Overview:
- The Social Media Coordinator will lead the creation and management of original content across all of BASC's social media platforms, advancing the club's visibility and community engagement.
- This position promotes club programs and events — including camps, registration, tournaments, competitive tryouts, and fundraising events — and helps tell the stories of BASC's players, coaches, and families across our social channels.
- The successful candidate will be a creative, detail-oriented professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for youth sports and community engagement. This is a part-time, in-office (not remote), combining regular office hours with required weekend fieldwork at Indian Springs Soccer Complex.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Canva or a comparable graphic design tool
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business, nonprofit, school, or club
- Comfortable shooting photo and video on a smartphone or camera in an outdoor, fast-moving field environment, in all weather conditions
- Strong interviewing and interpersonal skills; comfortable approaching coaches, players, and parents to gather stories on-site
- Excellent written communication skills and careful proofreading
Able to work independently and manage a content calendar with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and availability for both part-time in-office hours and weekend fieldwork at Indian Springs Soccer Complex during the season
- Must pass BASC's risk management requirements

Compensation & Schedule
- Salaried: This part-time role is compensated commensurate with experience, in line with BASC's nonprofit operating budget.
- Part-time position combining regular in-office hours with required weekend fieldwork at Indian Springs Soccer Complex during the season
- Hours fluctuate with BASC's seasonal calendar, with the heaviest demand during in-season weekend play, tryouts, registration, and major club events
- Periodic evening availability required.
