Get your entries in for the 2026 edition of the much-loved Glenorchy Open Art Exhibition!

Celebrating the creativity of our community, the Glenorchy Open is open to anyone who lives, works, studies or has a strong connection to Glenorchy, Moonah, West Moonah, Derwent Park, Lutana, Chigwell, Claremont, Montrose, Goodwood, Rosetta, Collinsvale, Glenlusk, Austins Ferry, Berriedale, Dowsing Point or Granton.

This is an invitation for artists of all abilities to submit one artwork in any medium for inclusion in the exhibition.

1. You must be a resident of, work or practice in, train, study in, or have a special connection to the Glenorchy City Municipality to enter.
2. Each artist can submit one artwork only.
3. All artworks must be prepared and ready for hanging and installation.
4. Artwork does not have to be for sale but if it is, the sale of your artwork is of your choice and responsibility. The staff of the Centre will happily facilitate contact with potential buyers.
5. Moonah Arts Centre takes no commission or handling fee on sales.
6. This exhibition does not provide artist fees or charges.
7. If there are any issues with the artwork (for example size, complexity etc) which require negotiation, the Visual Arts Officer will resolve these with you.
8. All artworks are insured to their full market or replacement value by Glenorchy City Council for the exhibition period, installation and deinstallation.
9. As Moonah Arts Centre is a community facility and cannot restrict anyone from entry to our galleries for any reason, the Visual Arts Officer reserves the right to refuse to display artwork if it is considered unsuitable for people under 18 or potentially offensive.
