Thank you for supporting the ASP Learning and Improvement Programme by completing this short survey. You will find details of opportunities to take part in conversations with us here, and at the end of this set of questions.
These questions will help us understand the national picture for ASP self-evaluation across all 32 local authority areas, a core need of our ASP Learning & Improvement Programme. By self-evaluation, we mean: how teams look at the difference their adult support and protection work is making, and use ASP data and evidence to understand and improve it. A team may do this on its own or jointly with partners.
We will only report responses in aggregated formats, that will not identify you or your area’s specific response in any publication. Please answer honestly; ‘not yet’ or ‘not sure’ are completely valid responses.
Our programme aims to support robust self-evaluation, so we want to understand where everyone is just now and the tools they may or may not be using.
How will we share our findings?
Your responses will help us build a national picture of ASP self-evaluation practice and a shared asset map (a picture of the tools, resources and good practice already in place across Scotland). Taking an asset-based approach, we’ll focus on existing strengths, alongside locally-defined needs, rather than starting from whats missing.
This will shape our updates to the Scottish Government and the Programme Advisory Group. This will take place in national meetings, blogs and through the ASPire Hub. Crucially, we’ll share learning back with all areas so we can build on this together.
