• EMERGING TECHNOLOGY AWARD ENTRY FORM

    The Emerging Technology Award recognises innovative technologies with the potential to transform the offshore energy sector.

    Technologies should have progressed beyond the concept stage and be undergoing validation, qualification, demonstration, or early deployment as they advance towards commercialisation.

    Typical Technology Readiness Level (TRL): 4-7

    Eligible technologies may include:

    • New products, services, processes, or digital solutions undergoing validation or qualification.
    • Technologies being tested in laboratory, pilot, or operational environments.
    • Technologies transferred from other industries that have not yet achieved significant adoption within offshore energy.
    • Novel combinations of existing technologies that create new capabilities or deliver measurable operational benefits.
    • Technologies that have completed initial field deployments but remain at an early stage of market adoption.

     

    The technology can apply to any area of the industry’s activity, including digital, HS&E, energy transition etc.

    The judges will be looking for evidence of novelty and innovation in your idea, clear evidence that it addresses a need within the industry and has a clear operational outcome and a compelling road map which might include a business case for progression and scaling. Please do not submit other supporting information - only the answers provided on this form will be judged.
