• COLLABORATION AWARD ENTRY FORM

    The Collaboration Award recognises outstanding collaboration between two or more independent organisations or teams/functions within an organisation that have come together to successfully deliver a specific project, campaign or significant scope of work within the energy industry.

    The award is intended to celebrate organisations that have demonstrated genuine collaboration through shared objectives, integrated working, joint problem-solving and collective responsibility for successful project delivery.

    Eligible collaborations may involve operators, service companies, Tier 1 contractors, SMEs, technology providers, specialist contractors, consultants, supply-chain organisations or other relevant project partners.

    Internal collaboration between individuals within a single organisation will not, on its own, be eligible for this award.

    The collaboration must relate directly to the delivery of work in, or materially supporting, an offshore operating environment.

    Judges will assess entries against the following criteria:

    The Collaboration and Project
    Clear identification of the organisations involved, the offshore project or scope being delivered, their respective roles and why a collaborative approach was required.

    Genuine Collaborative Working
    Evidence that the organisations worked as an integrated team rather than simply operating through conventional contractual or supplier relationships. Entrants should demonstrate shared objectives, joint decision-making, open communication and collective problem-solving.

    Overcoming Project Challenges
    Evidence of how collaboration helped address specific technical, operational, commercial, logistical, schedule, HSE or offshore execution challenges that would have been more difficult to resolve independently.

    Integration and Delivery
    Demonstration of how the organisations successfully integrated their people, capabilities, technology, processes, management systems and/or HSE arrangements to deliver the offshore project.

    Measurable Project Outcomes
    Evidence of tangible benefits generated through collaboration. These could include improved safety, reduced risk, reduced offshore exposure, schedule improvement, increased productivity, cost reduction, improved quality, reduced environmental impact or another measurable value adding project benefit.

    Innovation Through Collaboration
    Evidence, where applicable, that bringing the organisations together resulted in a new or improved approach, technology, methodology or delivery model that would not readily have been achieved by one organisation working independently.

    Legacy and Transferability
    Evidence that the collaboration has created a lasting benefit, strengthened relationships or established a model that could be replicated on future offshore projects.

    ELIGIBILITY CLARIFICATION

    To qualify for the Collaboration Award, an entry should:

    • Involve a minimum of two independent organisations or two functions/teams within an organisation
    • relate to a clearly identifiable offshore project, campaign or scope of work;
    • demonstrate active participation and contribution from each organisation/team or function;
    • provide evidence of identifiable project benefits resulting from the collaboration.
    • Entries based solely on internal teamwork within general strategic partnerships, framework agreements, memoranda of understanding or supplier relationships without evidence of a specific offshore project being collaboratively delivered should not qualify.
