Introduction to Native Plant Gardening

Curious about native plant gardening? Want to learn more about this rapidly growing movement? Unsure about where to begin or what all the fuss is about?

This workshop will provide an introduction for native plant newbies or those who are native plant curious.

We will begin with a brief discussion about the critical nature (pun intended) of native plants and how to incorporate them into your home garden. The workshop will then continue with a tour of a GNPS-gold-certified garden where participants can ask questions and see examples of native plants in a garden setting, including tips and tricks.

100% of workshop fees will go to supporting the Intown Chapter of the Georgia Native Plant Society.

Participants must be at least 16 years old.

This workshop will be outside among plants, uneven terrain and possible stinging insects.
