FIELD PROVEN TECHNOLOGY AWARD ENTRY FORM

The Field Proven Technology Award recognises technologies that have successfully transitioned from development into operational use and are delivering measurable value to customers and the offshore energy sector.

Typical Technology Readiness Level (TRL): 8-9

Eligible technologies should:

Have successfully completed qualification and entered commercial service.
Demonstrate proven operational performance in real-world applications.
Provide measurable benefits such as improved safety, reduced cost, enhanced reliability, improved environmental performance, increased efficiency, or increased energy recovery.
Have evidence of repeatable deployment and customer acceptance.
Technology with a 1–2 year track record and is ready to be scaled

Technologies in this category should have progressed beyond pilot and demonstration activities but should not yet be regarded as established industry practice.

While TRL 9 technologies may be eligible for the Field Proven Technology Award, technologies that have achieved widespread market adoption and have become industry recognised will be considered Established Technologies and are therefore not eligible.
