Star of the Sea School Choir 2026-27

Star of the Sea Choir Permission Form
Calling all students in grades 4 to 7!

If you enjoy singing great music and spending time with friends, be a part of the choir at Star of the Sea School.

We sing for:
- School masses
- One Sunday mass per month at Good Shepherd Church (see scheduled below)
- Christmas Carolling at Semiahmoo Mall
- Spring festival field trip
- Year End school Fine Arts Performance
Practices are MONDAY afternoons from 3:05-4:00 PM in the Fine Arts Room with Mr. Band, Mrs. Mills and Mr. Tisalona.

This year the choir will be singing at one Sunday 9AM mass at Good Shepherd Church per month (10 in total), masses are on the following dates:
- September 27
- October 25
- November 22
- December 27
- January 24
- February 28
- March 28
- April 25
- May 23
- June 27
Students will meet at Good Shepherd Church at 8:30AM in the vestibule area in full school uniform and will be picked up after mass at 10:30AM.

I understand this is a year-long commitment which can only be dropped with parental permission for a serious reason
I understand practices are MONDAYS after school from 3:05 to 4:00 PM in the Fine Arts room
I understand that siblings who are not in choir cannot stay after school without parent supervision
I understand that choir members will be singing at one Sunday 9AM mass at Good Shepherd Church per month (schedule above)
I understand that for these Sunday masses, students will meet at Good Shepherd Church at 8:30AM in school uniform and must be picked up after mass at 10:30AM
Absences throughout the year due to SOS team-sport practices and games are allowed.

Extra curriculars are part of our school program and provide students with valuable learning experiences.
