1) Remote support only: DIYagnose provides remote electrical troubleshooting, technical instruction, installation guidance, contractor quote review, and related electrical information by phone, video, photos, email at
diyagnose.electricllc@outlook.com, and other electronic communications. DIYagnose does not physically perform work at Client properties and does not control or supervise Client personnel or the worksite.
2) Client controls its personnel: All physical electrical work is performed by Client personnel, contractors, electricians, or other third parties. Client is responsible for who performs the work and for training, supervision, qualifications, authorization, licensing, tools, personal protective equipment, permits, inspections, and workplace safety.
3) Electrical work is dangerous: Electrical work can cause shock, electrocution, burns, arc flash, fire, explosion, property damage, serious injury, disability, or death. Client personnel must stop and obtain appropriate on-site professional or emergency assistance whenever conditions are unsafe or DIYagnose recommends stopping.
4) Remote guidance has limits: DIYagnose cannot physically inspect the property. Hidden defects, concealed wiring, prior improper installations, energized components, environmental hazards, code violations, and other unsafe conditions may exist that cannot reasonably be detected remotely.
5) Risk, release and indemnification: Client assumes responsibility for physical work performed by its employees, maintenance staff, contractors, agents, tenants, or other third parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Client releases DIYagnose LLC and its members, owners, employees, contractors, representatives, and agents from claims arising from personal injury, death, fire, electrical shock, equipment damage, property damage, loss of use, or other losses caused by acts or omissions of Client personnel, contractors, tenants, or other third parties performing physical work. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Client agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DIYagnose from third-party claims arising from physical work by Client personnel or contractors, failure to follow safety instructions, unauthorized or unlawful electrical work, inaccurate or incomplete information supplied to DIYagnose, acts or omissions of Client employees or contractors, or Client's failure to comply with applicable workplace, licensing, permit, or safety requirements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DIYagnose’s aggregate liability for a particular service shall not exceed the amount Client actually paid for that service.
