Horse Club is officially full!!

** Please do not send payment if you are on the waitlist- your spot will be held in the order it is received without payment. If a spot becomes available, you can pay at that time**
Horse club is open to children aged 5-12*. Each session will include hands-on activities with horses, guided riding time, and horse-themed games. Children will learn about horse safety, how to care for horses, and general skills that form the building-blocks for all disciplines. This club is designed for beginners who may have never met a horse, though experienced riders may also enjoy time with other young horse lovers!
This club is hosted by Jade Anderson who has competed nationally in Dressage and western disciplines. Jade has also completed 50 mile endurance races on horseback and has earned her Horseman of Merit and Rider of Supreme Honour Awards from the Arabian Horse Association.
Ten sessions are offerred with a max of 4 children per session. Payment is required to secure your spot. I will confirm within 24 hours of your registration whether you are enroled or waitlisted. If cancelled up to 24 hours before the session, you will be reimbursed in full. Each session will run no matter the weather - we will use the indoor arena at Arabian Knights (Robin and Tracey Anderson) if the weather is especially bad.
Cost is $50 per child, per session**. If your child attended horse camp in August, they can attend any two sessions for $80. Compared to camp, horse club will have smaller groups with more one-on-one riding time.
We are located on Atwater road between Esterhazy and Stockholm (10 minutes from Esterhazy or Stockholm). Transportation from Macdonald school may be available by request. If you are unable to arrive by 3:30 on school days, you are still welcome to register and join when you can- however, the session will still end at 5:30 and the fee will not be prorated.
Riders must bring appropriate footware, we will provide helmets and horses.

* If your child is over 12 or under 5, but would like to attend, complete the registration form and describe your situation. Children who need washroom assistance or may have trouble following instructions must be accompanied by a parent.
** Alternate payment arrangements may be considered such as an exchange of services or volunteer hours to offset a portion of the cost. If interested, please describe your proposed arrangement in the textbox below. Alternate payment arrangements must be agreed to in writing prior to the session.
