This equestrian day camp is modelled after our summer youth camp, but open to adults of any age! The day will be full of hands-on activities with horses, guided riding time, guided art with Tracey of Shivak Art, yoga with Julene of Luna Yoga, a wellness exercise with Chelsea, BSW, RSW, and other horse-themed activities. This camp is designed for beginners who may have never met a horse, though experienced riders may also enjoy time with other horse lovers!
This camp is hosted by Jade Anderson who has competed nationally in Dressage and western disciplines. Jade has also completed 50 mile endurance races on horseback and has earned her Horseman of Merit and Rider of Supreme Honour Awards from the Arabian Horse Association.
Camp will run from 10:00am - 5:00pm on Monday October 12th. We will share a meal at 5:00 for those who choose to stay. Please bring a bagged lunch for earlier in the day.
Cost is $120 per person and payment is required to secure your spot. If camp is cancelled due to lack of interest or any other reason, your deposit will be returned. This will be confirmed by October 5th. Camp will not be cancelled due to weather- if it is looking bad, we will move to the indoor arena at Arabian Knights (Robin and Tracey Anderson). Otherwise, camp will be located at Jade Anderson's on Atwater road between Esterhazy and Stockholm (10 minutes from Esterhazy or Stockholm).
Please bring your own lunch, stretchy pants, and appropriate footware. We will provide helmets, horses, and light snacks.
