    CAHSMUN 2027 Bursary Application

  • Welcome to the bursary application for CAHSMUN 2027. Since our inception, CAHSMUN has always stood by the mandate that all delegates should be able to fully participate in Model United Nations. Please note that all of our awards are need-based. 

    For delegates, we offer bursaries to cover 50% or 100% of the delegate registration fee. For schools, we offer bursaries to cover up to 100% of one chaperone room. Most bursary applicants face socioeconomic barriers to participation, but we invite applicants who face different challenges to apply.

    Applications will be processed in waves. You will receive an email with our decision and information on how to proceed with registration.

    We recognize that you are sharing sensitive information with us. Your form submission is only accessible by the Secretary-General and will be automatically deleted after one year. The USG Delegate Affairs will have access to your application status only.

  • For delegate applications, please attach one of the following documents:

    1. An eligibility letter from a government program: Income Assistance, Employment Insurance, Rental Assistance Program, Guaranteed Income Supplement, Child Disability Benefit, or Disability Tax Credit.

    2. A letter from a teacher, school adminstrator, doctor, counsellor, social worker, lawyer, accountant, or religious leader confirming the circumstances described in your application.

    3. Proof of Income Statement or Notice of Assessment from the Canada Revenue Agency, showing your family net income below the GST credit threshold. Please redact any sensitive information.

    4. If you have other supporting documentation, please email sg@cahsmun.org before applying.
