• Studio 19 Competition Team Interest Form

    Share your eligibility, background, and availability for the December 5, 2026 tryouts for the Jan–June 2027 Competition Team. THE DEADLINE TO COMPLETE THIS FORM IS NOVEMBER 25TH, 2026

    The Competition Team requires a higher level of attendance consistency, particularly from January through April as we prepare for our April competitions. Choreography rehearsals will have the strictest attendance expectations because missed rehearsals directly affect formations, cleaning, and competition readiness. Technique-class attendance is also expected, but occasional unavoidable conflicts may be handled with more flexibility than missed choreography rehearsals.   • Studio 19 Eligibility

  • Completion of at least one full 5- or 6-week Studio 19 Intermediate/Advanced session prior to tryouts is required to be eligible for the Competition Team.

    Dancers who have not completed this requirement prior to tryouts will not be eligible to audition for the 2027 Competition Team.

    Completion means attending at least 4 classes within the qualifying 5- or 6- week session. Attendance at 3 or fewer classes is considered incomplete and does not satisfy team eligibility requirements.

  • Completed at least one full 5- or 6-week Studio 19 Intermediate/Advanced session before tryouts?*

  • If you select No, you are ineligible to try out for the competition team and you will not be able to complete this form. If you took a beginner 5- or 6- week session, you are welcome to fill out the form for the performance team as you are eligible. However, if you have not taken either, you are welcome to continue training recreationally OR There is one more session left, and you must register for Session 4 to be eligible for tryouts on December 5th, 2026.

  • REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: 

    Competition Team Choreography - Tuesdays at 7:00 PM,

    Technique Class - Thursdays at 7:00 PM 

  • Can you currently commit to both weekly requirements from January–June 2027?*

  • Please note: Competition Team participation requires consistent attendance at both weekly commitments. If the rehearsal schedule conflicts with your availability, you unfortunately will not be able to participate on the team; however, you are welcome to continue training through Studio 19 recreational classes beginning in January at $119/month for one class per week. OR you are welcome to tryout for the Performance Team if that schedule fits better.
