Sometimes people question…what is a good Catholic book? It is suggested to look for the Imprimatur notation in books. What is that? The Imprimatur (“Permission to Publish”) is a declaration that a book is considered to be free of doctrinal or moral error. It is not implied that those who have granted the Imprimatur agree with the contents, opinions, or statements expressed, but the book is in accord with the Code of Canon Law. So if you are questioning if a book is a right fit or not, look for this statement on the page were you would find the copyright page of the book.

Holy Family is requesting that participants or group leaders order their own books. We ask that group leaders will be able to answer any questions and help participants with ordering, if needed. Thank you.
