Quilt Entry Information and Rules
You must agree to the Rules of Entry below and the categories listed on the registration form to enter your quilt(s) into the 2027 SQG Quilt Show for judging.
SQG Challenge quilts do not count towards the number of quilts submitted by each entrant. The challenge quilts for this year include the red, white and blue quilts celebrating the 250th Celebration and the My Big Dream Challenge. These quilts must be registered.
Bed Turning Quilts do not count towards the number of quilts submitted by each entrant. These quilts must be registered.
RULES:
- No more than a maximum of three quilts may be submitted. Only one of those quilts can be judged. Additional quilts MAY be accepted as space allows. This will be determined by the Quilt Show Committee after registration has concluded.
- Each entry must have three layers (top, batting, backing) and be at least 50% quilted — except yo-yo and cathedral window quilts.
- Each entry MUST have a 4-inch hanging sleeve sewn to the back of each quilt (2 inches for miniatures). Safety pins are not accepted — it must be sewn on. Any quilt without a sleeve will NOT be accepted.
- Entries must have a clearly legible label identifying the quilt's owner.
- Entry fee for non-guild members is $10 per quilt (plus electronic payment fees).
